Kindness beyond boundaries
New illustrations towards building a counter-narrative to the criminalisation of solidarity
On the occasion of Human Rights Day and International Migrants’ Day, we want to celebrate helping someone – sharing food, water, shelter with them, saving their lives, speaking out for them when they cannot, and providing any other assistance. These acts of solidarity and kindness are ultimately an expression of what makes us human and holds our societies together.
UN Human Rights, Refugee Support Aegean (RSA), the Greek Council of Refugees (GCR) and PICUM (Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants) release a series of illustrations and messages of kindness and solidarity.
