RSA (Refugee Support Aegean) was founded in 2017 and operates as a civil non-profit company (AMKE). RSA operates with absolute commitment to the principles of transparency, accountability and independence.

Certification ISO 9001:2015
RSA (AMKE), committed to transparency, accountability and the continuous improvement of the services it provides in order to protect human rights, has developed and implements a Quality Management System in compliance with the requirements of the standard: ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015
Certified in 2020 by EQA HELLAS S.A. for its Quality Management System (ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015) covering the provision of legal support and representation to refugees, applicants for international protection and other vulnerable categories of foreign nationals, and legal and policy research on human rights issues.
Eversince RSA continues through an assessment of the compliance and effectiveness of its Management System with respect to the corresponding applicable standard and the successful completion of the annual surveillance audit of the Quality Management System in accordance with ELOT EN ISO 9001:2015 by the Certification Body on an annual basis.

EU Transparency Register
RSA (Refugee Support Aegean) has been registered on the EU Transparency Register since 10 September 2021 under Register number 583270644066-47, and is bound by its common code of conduct.
The Transparency Register is a database of organisations that seek to influence the legislative process and the policy implementation process of the EU institutions. The register shows clearly which interests are being promoted, by whom, and with what budget. In this way, the register enables public scrutiny, allowing citizens and other interest groups to monitor the activities of interest representatives.
National NGO Registry
RSA (Refugee Support Aegean) is registered in the National Registry of Greek and Foreign Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) of the former Ministry of Migration Policy (Ministerial Decision 7586/17.10.2018 – Official Government Gazette 4794/Issue B’/26.10.2018) operating on international protection, migration and social inclusion issues of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, under Registration Number: 190618967202.

The civil non-profit company (AMKE) “Refugee Support Aegean” (RSA) is registered in the Registry of Greek and Foreign Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) operating on international protection, migration, and social inclusion issues pursuant to Decision No. 235976/28-4-2022 of the Special Secretary for the Coordination of Stakeholders.

RSA has been registered in the CSO Public Database of the Ministry of the Interior.
Our Supporters
RSA (Refugee Support Aegean) is supported by foundations, organisations and individual donations from citizens in Greece and abroad.
It operates with full financial, political and institutional independence.
It does not receive funding from national resources and European programmes.
